The Professional Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program was based on the possibilities offered by the legal framework set by Law 4957/2022 (article 89) for the creation of such Programs and it became a reality based on the long-term cooperation of the School of Chemical Engineering with the Operator of the Greek National Natural Gas System (DESFA SA), which exclusively finances the Program for the academic years 2026-2027 to 2030-2031.
The operating framework of the PIPP “Energy Systems and Sustainability” is specified in the Internal Operating Regulation, which has been approved by the NTUA Senate (meeting 17/2025, topic 24.4.2).
