Course Description
- Economic approach of energy systems, giving emphasis on cost analysis, market dynamics, and pricing mechanisms for renewable gases and electric energy.
- Economic principles governing energy markets, as well as the financial and political factors influencing the production, distribution, and consumption of renewable energy sources, such as hydrogen and e-fuels.
- Case studies in which the current market trends, the sustainability of renewable energy projects, and the impact of regulatory frameworks and technological developments on pricing strategies are analyzed.
- How the economy shapes the transition towards a sustainable energy future.
- Financial Sustainability Criteria: Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG), Net Zero Strategies.
